If you’ve got sales chops to spare, and have grown tired of selling vanilla-flavored services or one-size-fits-all widgets, and are looking to sell something innovative that really makes a difference in your customers’ organizations, we should talk.
Do you have an innate ability to understand the needs of Fortune 500 clients? Can you speak their language and help them solve their thorniest challenges? Do you get excited about helping your customers transform their relationships with their people, their clients, and their business partners?
Filament is looking for an experienced executive to lead sales and business development for our fast-growing company. You’ll build new client relationships, nurture existing ones, drive revenue growth through new business partnerships, and continually build the Filament brand. Daily responsibilities will include:
Prospecting for and developing executive relationships with key prospective clients in St. Louis and surrounding markets.
Identifying client business challenges and developing proposals aligned to Filament’s unique service offerings — making our clients more productive and profitable.
Managing client relationships and working with the Filament team to exceed client expectations — from the initial scoping meetings all the way through delivery and post-engagement follow up.
Owning and delivering on a new business quota to grow Filament’s revenue and help us scale our impact in St. Louis.
If you're the right candidate for this job, you'll also have:
A strong track record of success in sales and business development in a service industry, with impeccable personal and professional references.
A deep understanding of Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, and/or related selling methodologies and an ability to articulate a strong point of view on how to map a sales process to specific Filament and customer outcomes.
A strong network of business leaders and decision makers that will enable you to hit the ground running. Strong community ties to St. Louis is a plus.
Though we’re less than a year old, our clients already include multinational corporations, law firms, banks, hospitals and health care systems, technology companies, government agencies, nonprofits, and startups. However, we’re moving from startup mode to growth mode, and we’re looking for a dynamic sales leader who’s ready to help us take the next steps towards massive local impact and (soon) national expansion.
