Matt Homann  Founder & CEO

Matt has suffered from "Idea Surplus Disorder" as long as he can remember. He has a natural knack for helping really smart people think, meet and learn together better.

An accomplished keynote speaker and creative facilitator, Matt has worked with legal, accounting, financial services, nonprofit, and healthcare professionals around the world, as well as with executives from companies like McDonald's, HP, IBM, British Petroleum, Nokia, DuPont and the US Military.

In his previous life as a lawyer (don't hold that against him), he earned a reputation as a tireless advocate for legal innovation, alternative fees, and client-focused service.  He was named one of the 50 most innovative people in law by Fastcase, a "Legal Rebel" by the American Bar Association, and is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management

Matt is also the founder and former CEO of Invisible Girlfriend and Invisible Boyfriend, a startup that pioneered virtual companionship and that was featured on The Today Show

Matt lives in St. Louis with his wife, Jessica and daughter, Grace.

Todd Bauman is our Lead Artist and Visual Recorder. At Filament, he not only helps visualize complex information and draw pictures of hard-to-understand things, he showcases his unique ability to listen to multi-faceted conversations, extract the most crucial information, and then capture it in unique, easy-to-understand, and often humorous ways.

Todd has spent his career helping large agencies and companies like Lucasfilm, Anheuser-Busch and Purina capture their ideas in a shareable, visual way.

While always an artist, Todd began his career in "business" as a teenager working the caricature booth at Six Flags over Mid-America.

Dawn Buckley Customer Experience Manager

Dawn Buckley leads Filament’s efforts to continually improve our customers’ experiences before, during, and after their meetings.

Dawn’s path to Filament began in the fields of education and advocacy. Her dedication to helping people expand their potential started in Missouri and Texas, where she taught elementary school. Her adventurous spirit then led her to Thailand, where she served in the U.S. Peace Corps, mentoring teachers and women’s groups to advance their skills and earning capabilities.

In addition to these service-oriented ventures, her years coordinating the busy lives of her four children have prepared her well for Filament’s dynamic environment. Her passion for learning, desire to contribute toward positive change and development, and intuitive understanding of people help create seamless, productive experiences for our clients.

A few of Dawn’s interests and values include travel, holistic health, dance, and social justice. She and her husband, Seamus, live in Kirkwood, Missouri, with their lively golden-doodle, Archie, and four (more-than-lively) kiddos: Gracie, Finnegan, Daisy, and Beckett.
